This site is one of a suite of photo gallery web sites being published in the early part of 2009. Other web sites in the suite are: Hi, my name is Ian McKenzie. I enjoy photography, but I also enjoy working with photographic products. One of those products is photographs printed on fine quality Art Canvas. Satisfaction can be obtained by being in control of the entire process from the taking of a photo to the production of a large framed print ready for hanging. I do prefer large format prints 820 mm X 620 mm and 620 mm X 400 mm are my favourite sizes. These I produce myself with my state of the art large format flat bed printer. I then make stretcher frames myself using quality hardwood to fit the completed prints. By completing the entire process myself I am able to offer very competitive pricing. As an example, the prices of framed prints ready for hanging with the sizes listed above are only $180 and $120 respectively including GST. Some photographers and photographic suppliers are charging two to three times my prices for similar size prints. I can produce Art Canvas of any size up to 820 mm X 620 mm and a list of my standard prices is on my Art Canvas Prints web site. All of the sites with links listed above are being built during the first part of 2009. at the time of writing this, (30 January, ‘09), these sites are in various stages of completion. I am after some help! Normally any photographer will charge for a photographic session. However, I am after some “models” and if you, or someone you know, meet the requirements that I shall list below, then it could be a WIN/WIN situation for us both. I currently don’t know, (or I am not aware that I know) anyone with young babies. I would like to be able to take some photos of young babies as examples on this web site. I would like to do some photo manipulation with some of the photos I obtain, not unlike some of the work of Ann Gedes ..., babies lying on an enlarged flower for example. I would also like some baby “photo stories” with a time line. Perhaps photos of pregnant mother-to-be before birth, and photos of baby and mother and father post birth. I would of course require a model release form signed to allow me to work with the photographic products with a view to having them published on web sites or elsewhere, but the models and/or parents of the models will be given file copies of anything that I produce. Also, photographic products such as Art Canvas prints will be available for any models (or parents of models) at reduced prices below my already competitive pricing.
